My Salute goes out to all the troops of the UK and the US. My peace reign supreme and there be no need for any of them to be deployed away from their family and friends.

This obviously applies to the brave men and women of the UK Armed Forces as well.

This will not be the first time that I have had to admit my lack of understanding; it will probably not be my last. Thing is, John, I just do not understand your comment :?
By 'Delboy' I assume you are referring to he of the Trotter family? But what is a Delboy 'Purrfate', and why embarassed?
Could you mean 'Perfick' I wonder, as in The Darling Buds of May? Are you referring to the ElMaxx video link? Is it just a Christmas Salute?

I could go on guessing but would I ever guess correctly? Solution to my quandary? Ask the guy that made the statement.
Does anyone else know what it means?
H-e-e-e-l-p!!

I'm late on Parade due to an Overseas Posting to Sunny Spain over Christmas period :)
- but want to add my Best Wishes to all our Servicemen & Women for a Happy New Year and a safe & speedy return to Blighty.

I have to confess I'm perplexed, too. :)
